An organic holiday farm in Tuscany.
In an old farmhouse that has been restored with care and love, we have created an exquisitely refurbished holiday farm. We wanted to keep the original features of the house by using recycled materials; we chose lime colours with mineral pigments and natural earth paints for all the walls in the house; we selected antique furniture and then restored it, even the furniture and decorative elements were the result of a thorough research and collaborations with the best artisans in the area.
Here we live, we will welcome you, we will keep you company, we will offer you the best experiences and our food delicacies.
Inside the main building of our holiday farm, you will be welcomed to three elegant and spacious rooms with scenic views as well as a large room fitted with an antique fireplace to enjoy some relaxing moments.
The farmhouse also includes two annexes, Levantino and La Masca. Each of them houses two stunning bedrooms with a view.
All rooms have access to the garden and have an outdoor area for the exclusive use of our guests. Levantino includes a living room with a common kitchen area to the two bedrooms, which, if necessary, can be turned into a beautiful and spacious apartment equipped with all comforts, suitable for a group of friends or for a family.
Terre di Còcomo is our organic farm that extends across 10 hectares on the slopes of the splendid hills of Buggiano, a village in the hilly area of northern Tuscany, between Lucca and Pistoia.
On the hill overlooking the farm there was a peasant’s house built in the late 19th century. An old farmer, Attibaro, lived on this old farmhouse until 1990 with his family.
On an original 19th century map we found the name of this farm was “Cocomo”, the name of its small stream.
In those days, the house was a small rural building that also housed a stable and a barn and over the years it has been expanded into what we see now.
In 2016 we began the restoration works of the buildings and the restoration of the entire farm, working with the utmost attention to preserve its original materials and its early essence.
We live here, as a great little family: Sara, Emilio, Achille, Agata, our 5 cats and our dog Woodstock.
It is here where we carry out our daily farming and hospitality business. We offer hospitality and tranquillity surrounded by nature and the taste of authentic flavours within the frame of traditions and history this corner of the world is truly rich of.
